For more than two years K2 Management supported London Array Ltd develop the world's largest wind farm, 630 MW London Array outside the coast of UK. We also later worked as Lender’s Engineer for Masdar and Tokyo Mitsubishi Bank prior to their investment in the project.
Installation Manager on London Array
From August 2010 to December 2012 we supplied the project with an onsite Installation Manager for the cable installation. Our scope of work included:
- Construction contractor management (onsite)
- Overall co-ordination of work
- Management of scope of work variations
- HSE and Quality management

- High level planning with wind farm operations team
- Detailed planning of work
- Method Statements review and approval
- Risk Assessments review and approval
- Control of vessel and cable installation equipment inspection activities
- On site HSE review related to cable contractors activities
- Optimisation of on-site cable installation sequencing with installation contractor
- Contractor vetting (as required for additional services)
- Daily coordination of activities
- Tool Box meetings
- Documentation Control
- Daily Reporting
- Liaison between port captain and vessels
