K2 Management was appointed by Cordelio Power to deliver project and construction management for the 185MW Glacier Sands onshore wind project in Illinois.
This engagement comes on the back of a successful role in supporting the project during its late development and pre-construction phases. This pre-construction scope supported the project’s transition into the construction phase.K2 Management will perform construction management until commercial operation, closely monitoring the project to ensure quality assurance and compliance. The scope of work includes the management of project stakeholders, site activities, OEMs and contractors by the team locally in the US, tapping into expertise in civil and electrical engineering, SCADA and WTG technology from across the business.

Glacier Sands onshore wind farm, situated in Mason County, Illinois, is expected to complete construction in late 2021.
